The debate between the Paraná government candidates gathered Sergio Moro (PL), Sandro Alex (PSD) and Requião Filho (PDT) last night, Tuesday (29), in the PRC. Marked by direct confrontations, the meeting put into discussion the relations with national leaders and proposals for the state administration. The main clashes occurred between Moro and Sandro.

Political alliances and STF

The relationship with Jair Bolsonaro was one of the recurring issues. Moro highlighted the support of Flávio Bolsonaro and associated the parties of the opponents with the Lula government. Sandro questioned the senator’s changes in position and his decision to dispute the Executive before the end of the term in the Senate.

Sandro also claimed Moro would have supported the nomination of Flávio Dino to Supremo Tribunal Federal. Moro denied it. Because the vote was secret, the individual vote of the senator cannot be publicly verified.

Works and credit for servers

In infrastructure, Moro questioned the priority of an intervention on the access highway to the Tayayá tourist complex, comparing it to the Guaratuba Bridge. Sandro defended his actions and said that the construction of the bridge faced judicial obstacles.

Credcesta, a consigned credit service for servers, also entered the confrontation. Moro has charged explanations about the product authorization on Paraná and its relationship with Banco Master. Sandro rebutted by mentioning Filipe Barros, Moro’s allied Senate candidate, and a proposal related to the Credit Guarantee Fund.

Education and protection of women

In education, Sandro defended the civic-military schools and the results of the state network. Requião denied that he intended to close units, but proposed changes in the model and expansion of comprehensive and technical education.

Confronting violence against women has also been discussed. Moro presented proposals for integrated surveillance and a state maximum security prison. Requião advocated prevention, education and a hospital structure for women and children.

Copel, Sanepar and final proposals

The energy tariffs and the privatization of Copel have provoked divergences. Requião criticized the management of the company and defended the resumption of state control. Moro ruled out restatization and proposed changes in the management of Sanepar. Sandro attributed part of the energy increases to federal decisions.

Sandro presented his candidacy as a continuation of the administration Ratinho Junior. Moro reinforced proposals to fight corruption and said he would maintain state projects. Requião stood as an alternative of opposition, with priority for public services and care for women.
