Denunciation leads police to man sought by Justice in Ponta Grossa

A man was arrested after the fulfillment of an arrest warrant in Ponta Grossa, on the night of Friday (11), in the neighborhood Uvaranas. The action was carried out by the Military Police after a team received information about a suspect with judicial pending that would be circulating in the region.

According to the PM, the Rádio Patrulha Auto (RPA) team received complaints indicating that a man was driving a white vehicle around the neighborhood. Before the information, the police carried out the approach and began the verification of the situation of the suspect.

During the consultation with the police systems, it was confirmed that there was an open arrest warrant against the 29-year-old man. As informed by the corporation, the court order was related to crimes such as drug trafficking, theft and illegal possession or carrying of firearms, accessory or ammunition of restricted use.

After the confirmation of the judicial pending, the man received a voice of arrest and was referred by the police teams to the prison system of Ponta Grossa. He remained at the disposal of the courts for the proper proceedings.

Compliance with arrest warrants is part of the security actions carried out by the police forces in the municipality, with the aim of locating people who have pending judicial determinations and ensuring compliance with the decisions issued by the Judiciary.

The Military Police reinforces that complaints from the population can assist in the work of security teams, contributing to the location of suspects and to the prevention of crimes in different regions of Ponta Grossa.
