The commercial dollar opened the session on Monday (19) quoted at R$ 5.05. Ibovespa starts negotiations at 10 a.m.
Today, the focus is the last week of campaigning before the presidential elections, as well as the repercussions of the first debate of the second round between Lula (PT) and Flávio Bolsonaro (PL), promoted by the Bandeirantes Group on Sunday (18), which was marked by an exchange of accusations.
On Friday (16), the U.S. currency closed down 0.28% at R$ 5.0728. Ibovespa advanced 0.54%, to 205,430 points.
The financial market has followed the unfolding of the 6x1 scale, promulgated on Friday by the Congresso Nacional Bureau, in addition to the new electoral polls.
