Edital of the Cultural Satellite Has New Timeline for Invited in Ponta Grossa

The cultural announcement of Ponta Grossa that provides R $ 560,000 in awards had the schedule again changed by the City Hall. The new rectification of the Public Call no 01/2026, related to the Cultural Satellite project, of the Municipal Fund of Culture, was published in the Official Gazette on Thursday (1st) and modifies the dates of the next stages of evaluation and dissemination of the results.

The call is coordinated by the Municipal Secretariat of Culture (SMC) and the Municipal Council of Cultural Policy (CMPC) and aims to award artistic-cultural products of artists and producers resident in Ponta Grossa.

In all, the notice provides R$ 560,000 for 112 cultural products, with an individual prize of R$ 5,000. Of the total vacancies, 12 are reserved for affirmative actions.

Merit analysis continues until October 21

With the new schedule, the merit analysis phase of the works is scheduled to take place between October 2 and 21. The release of the notes and the classification is expected to take place on October 27.

After the publication of the result, participants will be able to submit appeals between October 28 and 30, closing at 12am on the last day.

The result of the merit analysis is scheduled for November 6, when the cultural agents should also be summoned for the next stage of the process.

Documentary evaluation will be in November

Participants will have between 9 and 11 November for the documentary evaluation phase.

The release of the result of this stage is scheduled for November 17, while the deadline for resources will be from November 18 to 23, also with closure at 12 noon on the last day.

In accordance with the rectification, the result of the documentary evaluation resources is expected to be released on November 27.

The publication of the final result of the cultural agents contemplated is scheduled on the same date, provided that the summoning of alternates is not necessary.

Cultural Satellite foresees 112 awards

The call is aimed at new and unpublished artistic-cultural products. According to the document, the works conceived, produced and finalized between January 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026 are considered in this condition.

The notice includes different cultural areas, such as Hip Hop, Audiovisual, Visual Arts, Capoeira and Dance, Literature, Theatre, Music, Carnival, Creative Economy, Pop Geek, Afro-Brazilians and Indigenous Peoples.

Registration for the call has now been closed. Thus, the publication of this Thursday does not open a new deadline for registration, but updates the calendar of participants who already integrate the process.

The use of artificial intelligence is allowed.

The document also provides for the possibility of using artificial intelligence tools in the design or production of the works. When AI is used, the participant must declare the tool used, the estimated percentage of technology participation and the prompt or equivalent description of the creative process.

According to the edict, the declaration of the use of artificial intelligence does not automatically cause loss of points in the evaluation. The work continues to be analyzed according to the merit criteria established in the call.
