Elections: 608,2 thousand voters are eligible to vote in the Campos Gerais region
The region includes 19 municipalities. Ponta Grossa leads with 258 thousand voters, followed by Castro and Telêmaco Borba; Paraná has 8.6 million voters.

Voters from all over Brazil go to the polls on Sunday to elect federal and state deputies, senators, governors and president of the Republic for the next four years.
According to data released by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), the Campos Gerais region in Paraná, which comprises the 19 municipalities that are part of the Association of Municipalities of Campos Gerais (AMCG), has 608,227 eligible voters in the 2026 elections.
In Paraná, there are 8,609,026 eligible voters. The state is the second with the highest rate of voters with valid biometrics, with 97.37%. Across Brazil, there are 158,745,463 voters, a growth of 2,291,452 people (1.46%) compared to the 2022 elections.
Municipality with more voters
In the region, the municipality with the most voters is Ponta Grossa, with 258,079 voters, followed by Castro with 56,054 and Telêmaco Borba with 52,023. The smallest electoral college is Porto Amazonas, with 3,872 voters.
In all municipalities, the vast majority already have biometrics registered. Optional voting applies to young people aged 16 and 17, people over 70 and illiterate.
