Elections: TSE received over 50 thousand reports of irregular propaganda
The main type of occurrence (43.78%) is related to irregular or non-compliant propaganda in public areas
Since the start of the campaign for the 2026 general election, Justiça Eleitoral has already received 51,395 complaints of irregular propaganda through aplicativo Pardal, an electronic system created by the High Electoral Court (TSE) to receive this type of occurrence.
They led the São Paulo ranking (10,388), followed by Bahia (5,969), Minas Gerais (4,635) and Pernambuco (3,505). The states with the lowest number of complaints are Tocantins (74), Roraima (104) and Piauí (172).
The main type of occurrence (43.78%) is related to irregular or out-of-standard advertising on public roads. Then come irregular advertisements on private property (11.94%), such as painting walls outside the standards accepted by TSE, and advertising on public goods. This includes murals in public buildings or institutional advertising.
During the election period, this type of advertising is only allowed in exceptional situations and with the authorization of Justiça Eleitoral.
There are also reports of irregular advertising on the internet, newspapers, magazines and radio and television stations; in addition to graphic materials, such as car stickers in larger size than allowed.
So far, Justiça Eleitoral has turned 27% of incoming complaints into cases.

To access the application, you must login with the password of the e-title or the Gov.br platform. The name of the complainant shall be kept confidential.
In addition to describing the irregularity, the whistleblower may attach photos, videos, audios, or related electronic addresses.
In cases where the complaint does not fit in with the scope of the Sparrow, the person will be referred to channels such as the Electoral Disinformation Alert System (Siade) or the Electoral Public Prosecutor's Office (MPE) of the state.
