"Entre Taças e Passos" brings over 70 artists together in a dance show at Teatro Marista in PG
"Entre Taças e Passos" in Ponta Grossa will be presented on April 19 at Teatro Marista, with over 70 participants and various dance styles.
The show Between Cups and Steps at Ponta Grossa will be presented on September 19 at 8 pm at Teatro Marista. The production of Studio Alan Oliveira will bring together more than 70 people among dancers, artists and professionals, in a montage that mixes ballroom dance, interpretation and stories marked by romance, mystery and suspense.
The presentation will bring to the stage different musical and choreographic styles, with the aim of building a narrative in which characters and stories meet throughout the show.
The public can follow presentations of tango, bachata, forró, sertanejo and bolero, as well as choreographies of other dance styles. The proposal is to use the diversity of rhythms to create different moments during the montage, going through more intense, romantic and relaxed scenes.
Stories intersect during the show
Idealist of the production, Alan Oliveira explains that the plot was developed to maintain the curiosity of the audience throughout the presentation.
According to him, more than 70 people will be directly involved in the show, considering dancers, artists and members of the production team.
“It will be a night of many emotions, with striking stories and different styles of ballroom dance,” says Oliveira. In addition to the choreography, the assembly uses interpretation, soundtrack and scenic elements to develop the narrative.
Throughout the show, the characters experience encounters, conflicts and revelations, with human relationships as one of the guiding threads of the story.
Tango, bachata, forró and other rhythms
The variety of styles is one of the main features of “Between Cups and Steps”.
The tango appears alongside rhythms such as bachata, forró, sertanejo and bolero, showing different possibilities within the ballroom dance. The assembly will also have free choreography, expanding the diversity of the repertoire presented in the Teatro Marista.
According to the organization, the proposal is to show the public the versatility of the ballroom dance while the presentations help to develop the different stories of the production.
Advance tickets cost R$ 50
Tickets for the show cost R$ 100. Until September 15th, however, those interested can purchase advance tickets for the value of R$ 50.
