The Operário Ferroviário has agreed to negotiate the naming rights of Germano Krüger with Espace Smart, a company that is already one of the main sponsors of the club. The information was calculated by BnT Online. The agreement will be officially presented on Wednesday (9) at 4.30 pm during a news conference at the stadium. The amounts involved in the negotiation have not yet been disclosed.

With the agreement, Espaço Smart will have its brand associated with the new Phantom Stadium, which goes through a broad modernization project. The commercial name that will be used in the arena will be presented during the event on Wednesday.

The negotiation represents another step forward by the Worker in the strategy of expanding commercial revenues linked to Germano Krüger, especially at a time when the club is working to take off the paper the first stages of the expansion project.

Smart Space expands partnership with the Worker

The relationship between Worker and Smart Space was already gaining momentum during the 2026 season. The company began to occupy the main commercial space of the alvinegra shirt and currently appears in the central region of the uniform of the Phantom.

In April, Espaço Smart took over the club’s master sponsorship, after already participating in other commercial activations related to the uniform. The partnership was subsequently renewed.

Now, the agreement involving the stadium raises the relationship between the two brands to another level.

The company specializes in solutions for dry construction and works with systems such as Light Steel Frame, Drywall, squadria and other products related to industrialized construction. The company itself presents as its purpose the transformation of civil construction through industrialization and sustainability.

Brand is already inside Germano Krüger

The presence of Smart Space within the stadium has also begun to be expanded.

The room for Germano Krüger's press conferences was refurbished and was named after the company. The space is used by players, technical committee and managers for press interviews before and after the matches.

The acquisition of the naming rights consolidates, therefore, a process of approximation that had already been taking place both in the uniform and in the physical structure of the club.

Works begin in October

The trade agreement comes on the eve of the effective start of a new phase of Germano Krüger’s project.

Work on the part of the stadium located on Padre Nóbrega Street begins on October 1.

The modernization project was structured in four phases. Before the beginning of the interventions, the Neighbourhood Impact Study (NIA) went through the analysis of the Research and Urban Planning Institute of Ponta Grossa (Iplan), which evaluated issues related to the increase of the public, flow of vehicles, parking and mobility around the stadium.

At the same time, the Worker also sought new sources of resources to enable interventions. In August, representatives of the Phantom were at the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) to present the project and seek financial support. At the opportunity, the club reported having received a positive signal from the entity for the possibility of allocating resources to the initial stage of the works.

With the start of the works scheduled for October and the naming rights agreement closed, the Worker takes two important steps within the project that aims to transform the traditional Germano Krüger into a more modern structure and expand the revenue sources of the club.

New details about the contract with Espaço Smart, including the commercial name of the stadium and eventually the duration of the partnership, are expected for Wednesday’s news conference.
