Expo&Flor begins this Saturday with 250 flower and plant species in PG
Expo&Flor runs until September 15th at the Environmental Park, with free entry, Sensory Garden, gastronomy, contests, race, helicopter tours and other attractions

The Expo&Flor in Ponta Grossa starts this Friday (4), from 9am, at Parque Ambiental. In its 15th edition, the traditional EXPO&FLOR – Holambra Flowers Exhibition will have approximately 250 species of flowers and plants, free admission and a special program that follows daily until September 15, from 9 am to 9 pm.
The official opening of the commemorative edition also takes place this Friday, at 7 pm, bringing together organizers, authorities, sponsors, exhibitors, partners and the community.
Promoted by the Rotary Club of Ponta Grossa Alagados, EXPO&FLOR expands the programming this year and, in addition to the traditional commercialization of plants, offers cultural, environmental, sports, gastronomic and social activities.
About 250 species will be on sale
One of the main highlights will be the diversity of plants available during the 12 days of the fair. The public will find approximately 250 species, among flowers of different varieties, orchids, ornamental plants, fruit trees, bonsai and other options.
The structure aims to serve from people looking for plants to decorate the house to collectors and passionate about gardening.
Sensory Garden and Gastronomy
The commemorative edition will have a Sensory Garden, developed to stimulate different senses through contact with plants, aromas, textures and sounds. At the entrance, visitors will also find an Instagram space specially prepared to celebrate the 15th anniversary of EXPO&FLOR.
The fair will also have gastronomic space and stands of the Opportunity Fair, bringing together companies, entrepreneurs and institutions.
Race, contests and bonsai draw
The program also includes writing and photography contests and a race scheduled for September 13, in partnership with the Secretariat of Sports.
Another attraction will be the draw of a bonsai on social networks. To participate, it will be necessary to follow the profile @expoflorpontagrossa on Instagram and comply with the rules defined in the official publication of the promotion.
Nine Helicopter Tours
One of the novelties that should catch the public’s attention will be the promotion of nine helicopter tours, carried out in partnership with the Lojas MM.
Visitors who make purchases during the fair may receive coupons to participate in the promotion, in accordance with the rules established by the organization. The nine tours are scheduled for September 13 and depend on the climatic and operational conditions necessary for the flights.
The worker's autographed t-shirt will be remade
The Operário Ferroviário also participates in the commemorative edition. During the EXPO&FLOR will be held a raffle of an autographed shirt of the Ghost. Each number will cost R$ 10 and can be purchased directly during the fair.
The event began with environmental actions
The activities related to the 15 years of EXPO&FLOR began even before the opening of the fair. Last Saturday, an action promoted the planting of trees in four localities: Uvaia, San Martin, Rio Verde and Vila Velha, involving municipal schools.
The initiative seeks to reinforce the environmental character of the event and leave a legacy related to sustainability and environmental education.
EXPO&FLOR continues until September 15th
The exhibition will remain open daily until September 15, always from 9 am to 9 pm, at Parque Ambiental.
With free entry, the organization hopes to bring together residents of Ponta Grossa and visitors to the region in a program that combines nature, leisure, entrepreneurship, gastronomy, sport and social actions.
