ExpoFrísia from November 12 to 14 will feature lectures on economic scenario and rural property management
Presentations will highlight the impact of market fluctuations on producer decisions and strategies to strengthen farm administration.

The program of ExpoFrisia 2026, which will be held from November 12 to 14, at Carambeí, will feature lectures focused on strategic challenges of agribusiness, such as the analysis of the economic scenario and the management of rural properties. Organized by Friesia Cooperativa Agroindustrial, the 19th edition of the fair will bring together experts, producers and professionals in an agenda related to the dairy, agricultural and pig chains that includes forums, workshops, equipment and technologies show, as well as trials of dairy cattle. With free entry and parking, the fair will be held in the Frisian Exhibition Pavilion, annexed to the Museu Parque Histórico de Carambeí.
One of the highlights of the first day (12) will be the lecture of the journalist Kellen Severo, at 4 pm, on macroeconomic perspectives and the milk, agricultural and pork markets. With specializations in Economics and Agribusiness, the speaker works on the translation of macroeconomic and geopolitical scenarios into practical guidelines for decision making in the field.
The presentation will address factors that influence the profitability of agricultural activities, such as exchange rate fluctuations, input costs and trends in the global commodity market. The objective is to help producers make more strategic decisions in the face of market uncertainties and take measures to protect the margins of their activities.
Another highlight of the program will be the lecture "The strength of management: raising the level of properties and preparing new leaders", led by Jan Maarten van Swaay Neto, Senior Project Manager in the area of advisory services at Rabobank Brazil. The meeting will be on Thursday (12), from 1 pm to 2 pm, in the miniauditorium 2.
With experience in more than 80 consultancy projects in the rural sector, van Swaay will address strategies to improve property management, focusing on governance, performance indicators, process organization and leadership development. The proposal is to present practices that contribute to making agricultural businesses more efficient and prepared for the challenges of the future.
Diverse programming
In addition to the two lectures, ExpoFrisia 2026 programming will be marked by a wide variety of activities. On Thursday (12), the public can follow the Ocepar Commercial Forum, presentations on succession and reforma tributária, in addition to the official opening of the event. The program also includes activities especially aimed at children, such as the Bezerras Club and the Clubinho.
On Friday (13), the debates and presentations will address strategic topics for the future of agribusiness, such as regenerative agriculture, traceability, food conversion, animal welfare, people management and waste reduction. The day will also feature a workshop on waste and the Siling Contest. Among the highlights is the lecture on environmental licensing of dairy cattle and pig farming activities, taught by Matheus Lopes Demito, head of the regional office of the Instituto Água e Terra (IAT) in Ponta Grossa.
The dairy farm will also have a leading role in the trials. On Friday, the competitions of the categories Young and Adult of the Dutch Red and White (HVB) race will be held. On Saturday, it will be the turn of the Black and White Dutchman (HPB), in addition to the traditional Presenters’ Cup, which brings together young people and professionals in a contest that values preparation, presentation and knowledge about animals.
The realization of ExpoFrisia in November represents an important change in relation to the previous editions. From 2026, the fair leaves the month of April and starts to be held in the second half, meeting a demand from animal exhibitors and widening the interval between the main dairy exhibitions of the Campos Gerais. The change also favors the participation of the animals, considering the production schedule and the conditions of the herd throughout the year.
