The report of the Portal Boca no Trombone spoke with the father of the fisherman André Lucas, 27 years old, disappeared at sea since last Thursday (15). The family is from Tibagi, but André lived in Santa Catarina with his mother and worked with octopus fishing.

André Lucas disappeared while working on the industrial trawler MESTRE GAL S (Navy Registration: 443-011043-3 / RGP: SC-0003898-1), about 60 nautical miles from the Port of Santos, on the coast of São Paulo. The owner responded to the BnT Portal report on the searches. (See at the end of this article).

According to his father, Deloir Batista Carneiro, his son’s last contact was on Thursday afternoon.

"He lived with his mother in Santa Catarina. He worked on a fishing boat, he had been working on a boat for almost five years. On Thursday last week, it was 3:17, 3:18, he sent some videos to a girl here from Tibagi and was talking to her by WhatsApp. From that moment on Thursday, he disappeared from the top of the boat," Deloir said.

The ship had five crew members. According to what was passed on to the family, André was on guard for the others to sleep. The disappearance was not made known to the family until Friday.

“On Friday around 9 a.m., the wife of one of the boatmen called his mother telling her that André had fallen off the boat on Thursday. Then she gave me that information,” the father reported.

From there began the anguish and the pilgrimage for information. Deloir claims that it was the relatives who had to activate the Brazilian Navy.

"We called the Navy of Santa Catarina. On Saturday we called there and they weren't aware of anything about the search. We kept talking to them and they took all the data to start a search. Then we learned that from Santa Catarina they could not do anything because they were in the state of São Paulo, they were 60 miles from Santos. Then we called the Navy of Santos too, they were not knowing anything if there were people who fell into the water because they had not passed any information to them.

"We passed on the information that my son had fallen on Thursday around 3:18 p.m., which was the last contact he had here at Tibagi, sent audio, sent video. They were not aware of anything, so they opened the protocol to begin the search.”

Default

The father denounces the omission by the owner of the boat and says that the family is unsupported.

"The class of the owner of the boat, none of them pass on information to us, they do not support either me or his mother. We have no news. And even knowing that you say that they've already canceled the search, they're going to cancel and then we're desperate. It's a life, isn't it? It is a life that is in the lost sea, it may even be alive. For me, until they find the body, for me it is alive," Deloir said.

"We just want to know how it fell, because there is no way to fall from a boat. There's no alcohol, there's nothing. We want more information, we want you to continue the search for a few more days because suddenly he can be alive, because there are reports of people who stayed several days in the lost sea, suddenly he found something, he grabbed. We just want that,” he begged.

Deloir said: “We are desperate because it’s a life lost in a sea. And they're so taking in the joke. We send a message, the time they want to respond, respond. His mother there they don't answer, they don't say anything. So we're just asking for help. I need you to help me spread the word, because it is a pain of a father, a pain of a mother who is with a lost child. He was a worker, he was working. We don’t even know if this boat is a cool boat or it is a clandestine boat, if it really fell or something happened, they fought, killed, threw into the sea. We want to know the truth. Please help me,” he concluded.

The family asks anyone with information or who can help put pressure on the authorities to contact: (42) 98828-3922.

Portal report Boca no Trombone sought the company

The owner of the industrial trainer MESTRE GAL S, Thomas dos Santos, said that the holes are being accompanied by the Navy and Salva Mar de Santos, by the very vessel that he was and other vessels that are in the region. "Today I was told that the search continues and that search areas are being carried out as well, according to the Navy."

He further stated that "everything that had to be done about warnings from the Navy, Firefighter, nearby vessels at the time of the incident were done, and are being done so far, as long as there is no Navy position". Finally, he stressed that everything that is passed on by the authorities is notified to the family.

About the Navy’s activation and failure to provide relief, Thomas said the Navy was activated around 6 p.m. on Thursday (15) and that there was no activation. "There was no omission. For from the first contact with the family when we were able to find the mother on Friday morning, we have already maintained direct contact with the aunt who asked to take the lead on the part of the family. All the information passed to us from the navy and ships, was passed on simultaneously to the aunt."

The BnT has also sought the Navy, but has not yet gotten back.
