Father's Hole will have free entry on Ponta Grossa's birthday

Those who do not know the Buraco do Padre in Ponta Grossa or want to go back to one of the main natural postcards of Campos Gerais will have a special opportunity on the anniversary of the city. This Tuesday (15), the Nature Park Buraco do Padre holds another edition of the Buraco do Padre Day, with free admission for visitors.

The park will be open from 9 am to 4.30 pm, and the entrance ticket to the attraction will not be charged while there is availability within the capacity established for the date. It is expected to receive up to 800 people during the day.

The free will not be exclusive to residents of Ponta Grossa. Visitors from other cities will also be able to participate in the action without paying for the entrance ticket.

Gift on the anniversary of Ponta Grossa

The initiative was created to turn the anniversary of the municipality into an opportunity to bring residents and tourists closer to one of the best-known natural settings of Ponta Grossa.

The project is inspired by the Cataratas Day, held in Foz do Iguaçu, and seeks to encourage the connection of the community with the natural heritage of the city.

According to the manager of the park, Alvaro Fernandes Dias Filho, the objective is to allow more people to have contact with the space and reinforce the feeling of belonging in relation to the attraction.

“The anniversary of Ponta Grossa is an opportunity to celebrate what the city has of most special, and the Buraco do Padre is part of that story. We want people to get to know, experience and reconnect with this place, regardless of whether they are able to visit the park regularly. The Buraco do Padre Day is precisely this gift: an invitation for the population to come, live this experience and realize that this natural heritage also belongs to them.

What will be free

The free admission announced for Tuesday is valid exclusively for the entrance ticket to the Nature Park Buraco do Padre.

Additional experiences made available in space, such as the Nun’s Slot and the zip line, will continue to be charged separately. The parking will also continue to operate under the usual conditions.

The Geo Restaurant will be open during the date with free buffet service.

Celebrated annually, Buraco do Padre Day has established itself as one of the special actions linked to the celebrations of the anniversary of Ponta Grossa, allowing residents and visitors to get to know one of the main tourist attractions of Campos Gerais for free.

How to guarantee free entry

Although there is no charge, visitors should be aware of the audience limit. Free access will be allowed until the park reaches the expected capacity of 800 visitors.
