Fire hits truck on São Luiz do Purunã Mountain, heading to Curitiba

A fire in a truck in the Serra de São Luiz do Purunã caught the attention of drivers who were traveling along the stretch in the direction of Curitiba on Wednesday (16). The vehicle was hit by the flames after already being off the track.

According to preliminary information on the occurrence, there is a possibility that an electrical breakdown caused the start of the fire. The cause, however, will still have to be officially confirmed.

The truck was outside the traffic area of the other vehicles when it was caught in the fire. Images of the incident show the flames concentrated in the vehicle.

So far, there is no information about victims related to the fire. No details were released about the cargo transported by the truck.
