Fire Mobilizes Firefighters in Dona Luiza Colony in Ponta Grossa
Fire in Ponta Grossa mobilized the Firefighters on Thursday night (3), in the Dona Luiza Colony region.

A fire mobilized the Fire Department on Thursday night, after an occurrence registered in the region of Colonia Dona Luiza, in Ponta Grossa. Teams were fired at around 8:13 p.m. to fight the flames in a bush area located at the back of a residence.
The call was registered in Rua Dr. João Alves Pereira, where the fire hit an area of vegetation near the property. According to initial information, the firefighters’ work was focused on controlling the flames and eliminating the risks of spreading to other areas.
The rapid action of the firefighting teams was fundamental to prevent the fire from hitting nearby structures or causing greater damage to the residents of the region.
No information on the causes of the fire has yet been released. The origin of the fire should be evaluated later, if a technical survey is necessary on site.
Incidents involving burning and fires in areas of vegetation require attention, especially during periods of drier weather, when the risk of flame propagation increases.
