Five vehicles are involved in a collision on PRC-373 in Ponta Grossa
Collision on PRC-373 in Ponta Grossa involved five vehicles on Monday (28) and left a driver with minor injuries
A clash on PRC-373, at Ponta Grossa, involved five vehicles on Monday afternoon and left a 42-year-old driver with minor injuries. The accident occurred around 17:10, at km 168.3 of the highway, in the section between the junctions of PR-151 and BR-376.
According to information passed on by the Ponta Grossa Road Police Station, the vehicles followed the PRC-373 towards the PR-151 to the BR-376 when they became involved in the entanglement.
Among the vehicles involved were a BYD with plates of Ponta Grossa, driven by a 44-year-old woman, and a Volkswagen Saveiro, with plates of Guarapuava, driven by a 43-year-old man. None of the drivers were injured.
Also involved in the incident was a Honda Civic, with plates of Ponta Grossa, driven by a 32-year-old woman, who was also not injured.
Driver was referred to UPA Santa Paula
The fourth vehicle involved was a Ford Fiesta, also with Ponta Grossa plates. The car was driven by a 42-year-old man who suffered minor injuries in the accident.
The driver received care and was referred to UPA Santa Paula, in Ponta Grossa, where he received medical care.
A Scania wagon with Anita Garibaldi's plates on Santa Catarina also participated in the entanglement on PRC-373. The vehicle was driven by a 58-year-old man, who suffered no injuries. The set still had a Guerra semi-trailer, also with plates by Anita Garibaldi.
Coiling occurred in the stretch between PR-151 and BR-376
According to the report of the Road Police, the vehicles were traveling on the PRC-373 when, upon reaching km 168,3, they ended up getting involved in the entanglement-type accident.
In addition to the minor injuries recorded on the driver of the Ford Fiesta, the incident caused material damage to the vehicles involved.
The Road Police carried out the attendance of the accident and the collection of the information on the site.
To date, no details have been released about the specific dynamics that caused the entanglement or whether there was a significant impact on the flow of vehicles in that stretch of PRC-373.
