Four people are arrested with 25 kilograms of marijuana in Telêmaco Borba
The incident began during a traffic stop, when police identified an irregular situation involving the transportation of a child.
During the night of Tuesday (13), ROTAM teams of the 26th Military Police Battalion arrested four people suspected of involvement in drug trafficking in the municipality of Telêmaco Borba.
The incident began during a transit approach, when police identified an irregular situation involving the transport of a child. During the investigation, substances with similar characteristics to marijuana and hashish were found inside a container that was in the vehicle.
Afterwards, during diligences nearby, another vehicle was approached. Police found a slice of marijuana in the vicinity and, after authorization to enter a residence, found more narcotics and a precision scale.
In all, 25,536 kg of marijuana, 440 grams of hashish, a precision scale, four cell phones and two vehicles were seized.
The four suspects were arrested and referred, along with the seized materials, to the Civil Police Station for the appropriate legal procedures. The child involved in the incident was handed over to the legal guardian.
