Free drone course in Ponta Grossa opens new professional opportunities

The Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa, through the Agency for Innovation and Development, on Tuesday (22) began the third edition of the Drone Piloting Course. The free training brings together 15 participants and aims to develop new skills, expand access to technology and stimulate professional and entrepreneurial opportunities in the municipality.

Conducted in partnership with the State Secretariat for Innovation, Modernization and Digital Transformation of the Paraná, the initiative offers knowledge about the operation of drones and their possibilities of application in different activities.

Drones course offers theoretical and practical classes

The first stage of the training took place on Tuesday (22), at the Hub Station, in Ponta Grossa. During the theoretical lesson, participants received guidance on regulations, safety standards and procedures required for the operation of Remotely Piloted Aircraft (ARPs).

The content seeks to prepare students to use the equipment safely, respecting the requirements and the necessary care during the flights.

On Wednesday (23), the course will continue with the practical step, which will be held at Parque Ambiental. In the activity, the participants will have direct contact with the drones and will be able to apply the knowledge acquired during the theoretical training.

The practical experience will allow students to learn more about the operation of the equipment and develop skills related to piloting.

Technology can pave the way for entrepreneurship

In addition to providing the learning of a new skill, the course seeks to present participants with professional performance possibilities related to the use of drones.

The technology has applications in different sectors, such as agriculture, construction, audiovisual production, inspection of structures and mapping of areas, creating opportunities for professionals who wish to specialize or undertake.

For the president of the Innovation and Development Agency of Ponta Grossa, Tônia Mansani, the training represents an opportunity to bring the population closer to new technologies and encourage the development of professional activities.

The third edition of the Drone Pilotage Course integrates the initiatives to encourage innovation and professional qualification developed in the municipality, seeking to expand the access of the population to technological knowledge and stimulate new possibilities of income generation.
