Frontal collision between car and bus leaves two injured on BR-369 in Paraná

A head-on collision late Tuesday afternoon between a car and a bus left two people injured at kilometer 163 of BR-369 in Cambé.

According to the surveys carried out on site by the Federal Highway Police (PRF), a Ford Ka car was following the highway in the descending direction from Rolândia to Cambé, when the driver lost control of the steering and invaded the lane in the opposite direction, coming to collide frontally against a Volvo bus that was traveling in the opposite direction.

In the car were the 32-year-old driver and a 30-year-old passenger, both residents of Cambé. The two occupants suffered injuries and were referred to medical care by the EPR dealership, in Santa Casa of Cambé.

The bus driver and passengers were not injured. The driver of the collective was submitted to the ethylometer test that presented a negative result for alcohol intake.

During the care, the PRF team found that the Ka driver presented visible signs of drunkenness and did not have a National License (CNH).

He refused to perform the ethylometer test. After receiving medical attention and obtaining hospital discharge, the driver was referred by the PRF team to the Londrina Flagrants Center for the appropriate arrangements.
