Frontal collision kills motorcyclist and leaves two people injured in Pitanga
Collision between car and motorcycle was recorded on Sunday night (27). The driver and passenger of a Fiat Siena sustained minor injuries.
An accident with fatality was recorded on Sunday night (27) in PR-460, in Pitanga. The frontal collision took place at around 8:50 p.m., at kilometer 3, on the stretch that connects Pitanga to Nova Tebas. According to the State Highway Police (PRE), a Fiat Siena with Pitanga plates collided in front with a Honda CG 125 Fan de Boa Ventura de São Roque, which was traveling in the opposite direction.
The motorcyclist, a 36-year-old man, died at the scene. The body was referred to the Instituto Médico Legal (IML) of Ivaiporã after work of the Scientific Police.
The driver of the Siena, a 20-year-old woman, and the 26-year-old passenger, had minor injuries and were rescued by the SAMU team. They were taken to the Pitanga Hospital. Both vehicles suffered material damage.
