Frontal collision leaves three dead on BR-277 in Fernandes Pinheiro
Serious accident occurred in the early morning of this Tuesday (22). At the time of the collision, it was raining heavily in the area.
Three people died in a frontal collision at km 222 of BR-277, in Fernandes Pinheiro. The accident occurred at 1:25 a.m. on Tuesday, involving a car with Joinville (SC) license plates and a truck with Palhoça (SC) license plates.
According to the information raised on the spot by the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the car followed Foz do Iguaçu, while the truck transited in the increasing direction of the highway (Guarapuava direction). At the time of the collision, it was raining heavily on the stretch.
Three occupants of the car died at the scene. The victims were two men, aged 47 and 15, and a woman, aged 41. The driver of the truck was not injured.
