GCM arrests two for drug trafficking at Ponta Grossa Central Terminal

An occurrence of trafficking in the Terminal Central de Ponta Grossa ended with two people arrested and a 13-year-old seized on the afternoon of Thursday (17). According to the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM), stones of a substance similar to crack, money and a mobile phone were collected during the action.

According to the corporate report, a team of GAT India was patrolling the interior of the Terminal Central around 5 p.m. when it noticed four teenagers, three girls and a boy. According to GCM, the 13-year-old tried to hide a case in his pocket when he noticed the approach of the car.

During the approach, the teenager informed agents that the package contained a substance similar to crack. Subsequently, already at the police station, the material was weighed and totaled approximately 1 gram.

According to the version presented by the teenager to the guards, he was selling sweets when he was approached by a man and a woman. According to the report, the two would have delivered the substance so that he would keep it after noticing the presence of vehicles of the Municipal Guard.

The teenager also stated that the two would later return to pick up the material on the Parque Ambiental. With the characteristics passed on, the team began searching the region and located a man and a woman who corresponded to the description presented.

In the approach, the guards located R $ 316 in cash and a cell phone with the man. A team from GAT Fox was also called in to provide support, including a female guard to perform the personal search on the woman.

According to the record of the occurrence, R$ 151.85 were found with it and another casing containing several stones of substance analogous to crack. The material was taken for weighing at the police station and totaled 10.5 grams.

The incident was referred to the 13th SDP.

According to GCM, during the approach the two adults declared that the localized drug belonged to them. Faced with the situation, both received a voice from prison.

The teenager was also seized and referred along with the adults to the 13th Police Subdivision (13th SDP), where the case was made available to the police authority for appropriate measures.

The Municipal Civil Guard also reported that the monitoring center had images recorded the previous day in the vicinity of the bathrooms of the Parque Ambiental. According to the corporation, the recordings would show one of those addressed in a possible commercialization of narcotics. At the time, however, it was not possible to carry out the approach.

The case remains under the responsibility of the competent authorities. The eventual criminal liability of those involved will depend on the investigation and the procedures provided for by law.
