Generalized fight in futsal game ends with referees attacked by players in Piraí do Sul
Generalized fight in futsal match in Piraí do Sul ends with reports of aggression against referees. Company announces measures against those involved.

A men’s futsal game ended in a generalized fight, with reports of assaults against members of the arbitration team, in Piraí do Sul, in Campos Gerais. The incident provoked outrage and prompted the company responsible for arbitration to announce restrictions on the participation of those involved in future matches under its responsibility.
According to information handed down by sources to the Portal BnT Online, the confusion began after a throw during the game. A woman reportedly walked into the court, and then fans from one of the teams also stormed the space, initiating a series of assaults.
During the turmoil, members of the arbitration were allegedly assaulted by players and fans. There is still no confirmed information about the number of people injured or the need for medical attention.
Arbitration company announces measures after assaults
Given the severity of the episode, the company RFReitas Eventos Esportivos/Arbitragem released an official note expressing solidarity with the professionals who acted in the match.
In the statement, the company announced that it will stop providing arbitration services in games involving eight athletes and two members of the technical committee identified in the note.
The decision, according to the organization, aims to preserve the safety and physical integrity of the professionals responsible for the conduct of matches.
The disclosure of the names in the statement does not, by itself, mean that each person’s individual responsibility for the assaults has been proven.
Sports Secretary to participate in the survey
RFReitas also reported that it is taking measures in conjunction with the Sports Secretariat of Piraí do Sul to evaluate the appropriate sanctions.
According to the note, any punishments should consider the degree of responsibility of each involved.
The statement is signed by Romildo Freitas, owner of the company, and demonstrates concern for the safety of arbitration professionals during sports competitions.
Violence inside the courthouse is worrying
The case draws attention to episodes of violence in municipal sports competitions, especially when disagreements during matches go beyond the limits of the game and put referees, athletes and spectators at risk.
The entry of people who were out of the court during the confusion also raises questions about safety and access control to the competition space.
So far, there is no confirmation about the registration of the event bulletin, the application of sports punishments or the possible suspension of the competition.
The BnT Online maintains open space for demonstrations by the participants and the organization of the championship.
