Government of Paraná calls for another 120 approved candidates in public exam; see the deadlines

Candidates must submit examinations and medical documentation between 9 November and 9 December; contest remains valid until 2028.

The Government of Paraná announced the summons of 120 more candidates approved in the public tender of 2024, intended for the Executive Power Framework (QPPE). The professionals must participate in the medical evaluation stage, a mandatory procedure before the appointment and the position.

With the new call, the State reaches 2,475 authorized positions throughout the competition, a number higher than the initial forecast. Only in 2026, 803 appointments of professionals approved in the selection process were made.

Which professionals were called?

The new call includes candidates from different specialties, who will work in strategic sectors of the state public administration.

Among the professionals called are 25 accountants, 16 economists, 13 prosecution analysts, 13 civil engineers, nine electrical engineers, eight meio ambiente tax officers and seven environmental engineers.

The relationship also includes librarians, social communicators, laboratory technicians, occupational safety technicians and professionals from other areas.

The new servers should contribute with activities related to administrative planning, environmental monitoring, monitoring of public works, resource management and technical and legal support to state bodies.

Paraná public tender valid until 2028

The contest was held in April 2024 and registered more than 35,000 entries. Of this total, 25,626 candidates participated in the tests.

Initially planned to have a validity of two years, the selection process was extended by the Secretariat of State for Administration and Social Security (SEAP) in August 2026, remaining valid until 2028.

The extension allows the Government of Paraná to continue to summon approved candidates according to the need for personnel in the different state bodies.

Part of the new calls also seeks to fill vacancies that remained available after previously summoned candidates did not take up the positions.

According to the State Secretary of Administration and Social Security, Kunibert Kolb Neto, the expansion of the functional framework represents an investment in the quality of public services.

“The expansion of the number of professionals to compose the Government of the Paraná over the last years is one of the main marks of the current management, since this reinforcement is directly reflected in the quality of the services provided”, he stressed.

Medical evaluation: check the deadlines and procedures

The 120 candidates summoned must provide diagnostic aid tests, specialized medical evaluations and the completion of the Medical Information Sheet (FIM).

All the required documentation must be sent by the eProtocol system of the Government of Paraná, respecting the period established in the notice.

State prepares result of another stage of the contest

In addition to the summons of the 120 professionals, the Secretariat of Administration and Social Security should publish, in the coming days, the result of the analysis of the resources presented by 202 candidates in the Social Research phase.

This stage is aimed at competitors who are vying for vacancies in deprivation and restriction of liberty units, including social worker, doctor, psychologist, pedagogue and nursing technician.

According to Luiz Gustavo Sulek Castilho, Director of People Management, Social Security and Health, the hiring of specialized professionals contributes to expedite administrative procedures and strengthen the execution of public policies.

The reinforcement in the functional framework should also benefit activities of supervision, project development and monitoring of public investments in different regions of the Paraná, including the Campos Gerais.
