Government of Paraná names 988 more teachers

The Government of Paraná announced on Thursday (12) the appointment of 988 more teachers approved in the public tender held in 2023. These professionals have passed the medical examination and within the next few days should sign the term of possession, being able to start their activities in the schools of the state network from the second semester. The appointment was by decree 10.284/2025 signed by Governor Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior.

With this new group, the number of professionals summoned to the Master’s own framework (QPM) in recent years exceeds 4,500 throughout the state. The call is part of the ongoing work of the State Government to strengthen public education with the effective hiring of teachers, after an interval of ten years without competitions for the category.

“We are very happy to carry out this call after the first public tender for the composition of the Magisterium’s own framework in ten years. Thousands of new teachers and pedagogues in the teaching of the state network, which has about 1 million students”, highlighted the Secretary of Education, Roni Miranda.

The new professionals will work in state schools distributed across all 32 Regional Education Nuclei (NREs), in different curricular components and education levels.

In total (considering calls and withdrawals) more than 3,400 teachers and pedagogues are already in practice since the first calls.
