Government warns about fake news on social media regarding end of 6x1 schedule and social programs
Posts circulating in the post-election period spread false information about setbacks in the new journey and cuts to Bolsa Família and Gás do Povo
The Federal Government warns against false information circulating on social networks in this post-election period about an alleged retreat at the end of the 6x1 scale and cuts in the Bolsa Família and the Gas do Povo. The text of the constitutional amendment that ended the 6x1 scale has not undergone any changes after the elections. In the same way, the two social programs remain in operation, without suspension of payments or reduction of benefits.
6x11 - It is false to say that, after the elections, the government backed away from the 6x1 scale and began to prepare exclusions of categories of workers. There is no proposal that removes rights under discussion in the government.
Constitutional Amendment No. 141 provides two days of weekly paid rest, without wage reduction. It allows different forms of distribution of the holidays, including collective bargaining, provided that they are guaranteed, on average, two days of rest per week throughout the month.
The EC approved by Congresso Nacional already provides for specific rules for certain categories, in addition to the possibility of regulating differentiated regimes of journey and rest.
The dialogue with the sectors deals with the implementation of these provisions, within the constitutional limits. The Executive Power may not veto or amend an amendment to the Constitution enacted by Congress.
The reduction of the journey will occur in stages: 60 days after the promulgation, the limit will become 42 hours per week. A year later, it will be reduced to 40 hours. In all situations, without salary reduction.
FAMILY BAG - The allegations of cuts in the Bolsa Família are false. The program remains in operation, without any suspension of payments or reduction of benefits.
In October, there was a readjustment of 15.04%, with the minimum value per family going from R$ 600 to R$ 691.
People's gas - Information about cuts in People's Gas is also false. The program continues to guarantee the free refilling of the 13 kilogram kitchen gas bottle to the contemplated families.
The People’s Gas has a budget secured for 2026 and resources forecast in the 2027 budget proposal sent to Congresso Nacional.
