The hail shower hit Ponta Grossa late on Monday (28), during the storm that reached the city and surprised drivers. Intense rainfall reduced visibility on the streets and required increased attention from those in traffic.
The hailfall is a new unfolding of the change in time recorded this afternoon. There is still no confirmed information about which neighborhoods were hit, the size of the ice stones or possible damage to real estate and vehicles.
Forecast indicates more instability
For this Monday, Simepar predicted rain at Ponta Grossa and gusts of wind up to 50 km/h. The number refers to the forecast for the day and should not be treated as speed already measured during the storm. Tuesday (29), the agency also points to the possibility of rain.
