How much is a vote in PR worth? Millions move in the race for Iguaçu? by Gleidson Carlos
Campaigns for the Paraná State Government are already moving millions; Moro leads in revenue, followed by Requião Filho and Sandro Alex

With only nine days until the first round, the campaigns of the three main candidates for the Government of the Paraná have already moved tens of millions of reais.
Sérgio Moro leads in revenues: R$ 12.3 million. Of this total, about R$ 11.3 million came from the party fund.
Requião Filho appears just behind, with R$ 11 million raised, practically all the amount passed on by the party leadership, in addition to other donations.
Sandro Alex moved R$ 8.1 million. It is R$ 3 million from the PSD national directory, R$ 450 thousand from the state directory and other R$ 4.5 million passed on by the PP, in addition to the other revenues.
But there's an interesting detail. Much of that money doesn’t go directly to the street. It goes to marketing, content production, advertising, lawyers, accounting and all the necessary structure to keep a campaign running.
There is a coincidence that is hard to ignore. When we look at the recipes and the surveys, the order is exactly the same: I live first, Requião second and Sandro third.
That does not mean that money buys votes. But it shows that, in this election, so far, the size of the financial structure of the campaigns follows the position of the candidates in the polls.
And with only nine days left, the question is: who still has the money, time, and strategy to change that photograph?
