Identified agropecuarist killed at residence in Ponta Grossa

Angelo Vinicius Carneiro Gomes, 55, was identified as the man found dead inside a residence in Ponta Grossa. Farmer and natural of the municipality, Angelo was known in the city, especially in the social environment and linked to the rural sector.

The identification was confirmed after the case registered between October 14 and 15 and which was investigated by the Civil Police of Paraná. The death mobilized security teams from Ponta Grossa and also resulted in the location of three young people suspected of involvement in the crime in Balneário Camboriú, on the coast of Santa Catarina.

According to information released by the Civil Police, the investigation was conducted by the Operational Sector and the Homicide Sector of the 13th Police Subdivision of Ponta Grossa.

The victim was found inside the residence

Angelo Vinicius Carneiro Gomes was found dead inside his own residence. According to police, the body was wrapped in a carpet, with its hands tied and showed signs of violence.

From the first steps, the investigators gathered information that led to the identification and location of three young people who were identified as suspects of participation in the case. They were found in Balneário Camboriú after an integrated action between security forces.

The circumstances of the death of Angelo Vinicius Carneiro Gomes remain part of the investigation. The individual responsibility of each person involved should be clarified in the course of the police investigation.

Burial takes place this Saturday

According to information from Serviço Funerário Municipal, Angelo will not have a wake. The body will go directly to the Cemetery Santo Antônio, in Ponta Grossa, where the burial is scheduled for 14 hours this Saturday (17).

Angelo was a farmer, a native of Ponta Grossa and a person known to city dwellers, mainly in the social environment. The investigation continues under the responsibility of the Civil Police, which works to clarify the dynamics of the crime and the possible participation of the suspects located in Santa Catarina.
