Identified man who died in a hit-and-run on Souza Naves Avenue; driver fled

Sebastião Norberto Antunes Palhano was identified as the man who died after a serious hitch on Saturday night (17), in Avenida Souza Naves (urban stretch of BR-373), in Ponta Grossa.
The accident occurred around 22:20, almost in front of the Paraná post. According to information obtained at the site by the Federal Highway Police (PRF), Sebastião, 62, was hit by a car whose driver did not stop to provide relief and escaped soon after the impact.
Rescue teams from the CCR dealership were called for emergency care, but the victim did not resist the severity of the injuries and died at the scene. The PRF carried out the insulation of the runway for the forensic work.

Sebastian's body was collected by Instituto Médico Legal (IML) from Ponta Grossa, where it was officially identified. The Civil Police must initiate an investigation to identify the vehicle and the driver involved in the accident.
