The woman found dead in an apartment in the Ponta Grossa Center on Monday morning was preliminary identified as Tereza Oliveira, 52. The body was located in a property on Rua 12 de Outubro, in the central region of the city. Civil police are investigating the circumstances of the death.
The identification was obtained through information passed on to the report, but there was still no official confirmation of the identity by the police authorities until the last update.
The case mobilized teams from the Military Police, the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) and the Scientific Police. After the death, the body was referred to the Medical-Legal Institute (IML) of Ponta Grossa.
Residents report last moments of the victim
According to preliminary information, Tereza reportedly presented health problems on Sunday (1st), possibly related to a change in blood glucose, and sought medical attention at a health facility.
After receiving care, she would have returned to the apartment where she resided. However, residents reported that they could not get any more contact with the woman.
Concerned about the situation, neighbors sought help to access the property. A keychain was reportedly called to open the door, at which time the resident was found without any vital signs.
Samu was fired and confirmed the death. The cause of death still depends on the results of the examinations and the counting conducted by the authorities.
Boyfriend is mentioned in witness reports
One of the points that should be clarified during the investigation involves the movement of the victim's boyfriend.
According to reports obtained by the report, the man, who would have a relationship with Tereza and lived in the same apartment, was seen leaving the condominium carrying a suitcase.
