Woman killed after being hit by bus in Carambeí is identified as Genha Bodnar Kozan, resident of the AFCB neighborhood

The woman who died after being hit by a bus on Carambeí was identified as Genha Bodnar Kozan, 59. The victim lived on Rua Cinco Árvores, in the AFCB neighborhood, and died after an accident involving a bus and a bicycle in Avenida das Flores, on the morning of Saturday (19).
According to information obtained by the service teams, Genha was traveling through the Avenida das Flores cycle lane when she was hit by the bus, which was carrying out a conversion to access Rua das Azaleias.
The impact caused serious injuries to the cyclist. Emergency teams were called and found the victim receiving care at the scene of the incident.
The service mobilized teams of the Emergency Mobile Service (SAMU), Military Police, traffic agents and the Defesa Civil, through the Community Fire Department of Carambeí.
The Bravo 11 team was the first to arrive at the accident and began the procedures for attendance. The SAMU Alpha 01 ambulance was also on site to assist in medical care.
During the care, the medical team confirmed the evolution of the frame to code 4, a classification used by the emergency services to indicate a victim in death. The death was found inside the ambulance.
After confirmation of the death, the body was referred to the Carambeí Health Center for the necessary procedures until the responsible organs acted.
The bus involved in the accident remained at the scene and was at the disposal of the authorities to ascertain the circumstances of the occurrence. The area was isolated for research work and information collection.
The Military Police, traffic agents and Defesa Civil assisted in the organization of the service and the security of the area. The Scientific Police and the Medical-Legal Institute (IML) were called on for the official procedures related to the case.
Genha was an employee of the company JBS, which released a note of regret for the death of the employee.
In the message, the company highlighted that Genha was part of the history of the organization and expressed solidarity with the family, friends and colleagues of Seara of Carambeí.
“Today we received a news that makes our hearts very sad. Our dear collaborator Genha has passed away,” the company said.
JBS also stated that the collaborator leaves memories and moments shared with those who had the opportunity to meet her.
So far, no information has been released about funeral and burial.
