Investigated for supplying the drug trade in Rebouças, man arrested with 16 kilograms of drugs
A preventive arrest warrant and three search and seizure warrants were executed.
The Civil Police of Rebouças, with the support of the Integrated Tactics of Special Operational Groups (TIGRE) and the Military Police of the Paraná, detonated on the morning of Tuesday (13), an operation to dismantle the top of the drug trafficking chain that supplied the municipality of Rebouças.
A warrant for pre-trial detention and three search and seizure warrants were executed in Curitiba. The main target is investigated for coordinating and monopolizing the supply of narcotics to Rebouças.
During the search, the teams seized a 9mm pistol, several ammunitions, 16 kg of drugs - including marijuana, crack, hashish, capuchin (marijuana flower) and seeds - as well as precision scales and cellular devices. Two people were arrested in the action.
According to PCPR, the investigation, conducted with intelligence support from the Military Police, identified the entire distribution structure. The man arrested would be the one who authorized and controlled who could sell drugs in Rebouças.
In May of this year, the Civil Police had already arrested a woman appointed as a local traffic manager, who received the drugs directly from the investigator arrested on Tuesday.
According to the deputy in charge of the operation, Itamar Casabranca, the action is strategic to achieve the command of the scheme.
“The neutralization of the leaders of this scheme is crucial, as it interrupts the supply chain that directly supplied the points of sale in Rebouças, in addition to demonstrating that the Civil Police act to take out of circulation precisely those who command and control the traffic in the city,” he said.
The suspect already had a criminal history of drug trafficking, robbery and illegal possession of a firearm, and he was subject to precautionary measures with the use of anklets.
The preventive detention was represented by the Civil Police in the face of seriousness and criminal reiteration and was deferred by the Justice.
After the procedures of the Judicial Police, the prisoners remained at the disposal of the Judiciary.
