Jet Ski, motociclismo, shows and much more boost Castro's tourism in September

This September, the municipality of Castro promotes great events. The attraction calendar runs from start to finish and aims to promote tourism. Among the events are the Brazilian Jet Ski Championship (from September 4 to 6), the Brazilian Velocross Arena Championship (September 25 and 26) and shows with bare names at the 18th Castro Day Party (from September 18 to 20).

In an interview with BnT News on Friday (4), the Secretary of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of Castro, Kasciano Roberto Morais, spoke about the main events.

From today until Sunday (6), the Prainha region simultaneously hosts the 2nd stage of the Brazilian JetSki Arena Championship, the 4th stage of the Brazilian Arrancadão Championship and the 3rd stage of the Brazilian Endurance Championship, all organized by BRJS (Brazilian Jet Ski). It is the first time that Castro hosts a stage of the national calendar of the sport, bringing together drivers from different states of the country in three days of competition on the banks of the Japó River. "So, today, from 4 pm, the free training begins. The people of the region who already know Castro, who know there the prainha, the event will be there, in the Rio Iapó. Everything is ready for us to be welcoming the families of Castro, the families of the region and highlighting Castro in this sporting tourism, where it has been consolidating more and more ".

Already on September 25th and 26th, the municipality will host, for the first time, the opening of the Brazilian Velocross Arena Championship. The competition will be held at the Dario Macedo Exhibition Park, bringing together drivers from different states and more than 15 categories. On the 25th (Friday) the duels take place from 7 pm and on the 26th (Saturday) the gates are opened at 3 pm and the races start at 7 pm.

"The evidence of the city, we work with these events to be bringing economic development through hospitality, commerce, gastronomy," Kasciano emphasizes.

On the other hand, the secretary pointed out that in partnership with the BnT Portal, the recently launched tourist map is being a success. "We have already put our teams in action and have more than 60 establishments in Castro already with a map. So, it is very nice, we can bring, through the events, all the tourist trade to be working with us."

18th Festival of Castro Day

The 18th Festa do Dia de Castro, which this year will be held for three days, from 18 to 20 September, at the Dario Macedo Exhibition Park, is already set. The program brings together shows with artists of national recognition, cultural and artistic attractions and activities that value the identity, history and participation of the military community. In addition to the shows, other attractions during the three days take place.

Secretary Kasciano commented that "we will have a great show, which is a national show, which is the Roupa Nova, and it will be on Saturday. And we also have the beginning on Friday with David Killam, which is a show aimed at the gospel audience. And on Sunday, we will have the show with Sister Marizelle, who comes with the Catholic audience and then closes with Antony & Gabriel, on Sunday. So, it's an event, and look how interesting. We are taking the Seminovos Fair to the event. So, we will have this regional holiday, we will have an exhibition of old cars, we will have ballooning there on Saturday and Sunday, which will have the balloon there for the people to do that captive flight, take photos, and we will also have sports tourism in this event. What will be the sport tourism within the Day of Castro? It is the national stage of the Trekker Trek, the Trekker Trek that everyone knew, that was held in AgroLeite, this year did not have in AgroLeite, and it starts to compose the calendar of the municipality.
