Márcio Eurich, 40, was identified as the truck driver who died in an accident on PR-151, between Ponta Grossa and Palmeira, on Campos Gerais do Paraná. The collision occurred around 11 p.m. on Tuesday (13), at kilometer 343 of the highway, and involved two trucks and a car.
Márcio was driving a tanker truck that, after the collision, left the track, went down a hillside and hit a ravine. According to information from the State Road Police (PRE), the driver died at the scene.
Márcio Eurich was 40 years old and worked as a truck driver. He was the driver of the tanker truck involved in the accident recorded overnight on the connection between Ponta Grossa and Palmeira.
How the accident happened
According to the State Road Police, a truck loaded with wood was heading in the direction of Ponta Grossa when there was a lateral collision with the tanker truck driven by Márcio, which was traveling in the opposite direction.
The truck loaded with timber also hit a car that was parked near the highway. After the impact between the cargo vehicles, the tanker came off the track and hit the ravine.
The 25-year-old driver of the truck carrying timber was not injured. The driver of the car, 41 years old, had injuries classified as moderate and was referred to medical attention. There is no information about your health status after referral.
