Lago de Olarias gets tree sapling planting action in Ponta Grossa

The Lake of Potteries, in Ponta Grossa, receives on September 19th an action of planting seedlings in celebration of the National Day of the Tree. The activity will be held from 9am to 12pm and will have participation open to the community.

The initiative seeks to encourage care with the meio ambiente, increase awareness about the importance of green areas and bring the population closer to actions aimed at environmental preservation in the municipality.

During the programming, participants will be able to collaborate directly with the planting of seedlings in the space of the Lake of Potteries, one of the main points of leisure and coexistence of Ponta Grossa.

Community is invited to participate

The organization reinforces the invitation for residents to participate in the activity and contribute to the preservation of the green spaces of the city.

For those who want to follow the planting, the recommendation is to bring water and sunscreen, since the programming takes place during the morning and outdoors.

In addition to marking the approach of the National Day of the Tree, the action also aims to stimulate the discussion on sustainability, arborization and environmental responsibility.

Action brings together institutions of Ponta Grossa

The planting is organized by the Environmental Guidelines: Extension in Journalism UEPG, CONEA/UTFPR, Forest Nursery Project UEPG/CAAR, João do Rio Academic Center (Cajor) and Journalism Agency UEPG.

The activity also has the support of the Municipal Secretariat of Meio Ambiente (SMMA) of Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa.
