Official measurements recorded at 7 a.m. on Wednesday indicate the level of the Yapo River is at 6.91 meters, marking a 20-centimeter retreat in the last 24 hours. The peak recorded in the current crisis occurred last Sunday (13), when the bed reached 7.23 meters.
With the gradual decline of waters, the reception situation has also stabilized. The 11 people who needed to leave their homes at the beginning of the week chose to stay in the residence of relatives and relatives. With this, there are no citizens staying in the Pop House at the moment, all of them being accompanied by the teams of the Social Assistance Secretariat in the condition of evicts.
Images recorded on the morning of Wednesday (16) show the water level gradually dropping in the bed of the Iapó River and around the Parque Lacustre.
