LGBTQIAPN+ Festival to have 16 attractions and two days of programming in PG
LGBTQIAPN+ Festival takes place on October 17 and 18, in Ponta Grossa, with 16 attractions, music, theater, DJs and contests.

Ponta Grossa hosts this weekend the first edition of the LGBTQIAPN+ Festival, which will bring together 16 cultural attractions on October 17 and 18, at the Cultural Center. The program will be held from 1 pm to 8 pm, with activities distributed between two stages.
Promoted by AJP Produções Culturais, the event brings together music, theater, workshops, talk wheels, contests, DJs and other artistic manifestations. The proposal is to expand cultural expression spaces, strengthen LGBTQIAPN+ representativeness and enhance local and regional artists and producers.
Schedule starts on Saturday
On Saturday (17), the activities begin at 1 pm, with the presentation of Our Song, on the external stage.
At 1:30 p.m., Rafaelly Wiest participates in a conversation wheel on the indoor stage. The program continues with the Lazuli Workshop, at 2.30 pm, and the Sáfica Mais Performática contest, scheduled for 3.00 pm.
From 4 p.m., DJs and theatrical play La Luna are scheduled. Other musical attractions follow during the afternoon, until the presentation of the Bovoá Band, at 6:30 pm, on the external stage.
Sunday's show, music, and dance
On Sunday (18), the programming also begins at 1 pm, with DJ performances.
At 2:30 p.m., a karaoke will be held open to the public. Then, at 3 pm, the drag contest takes place, on the internal stage.
The musical attractions continue during the afternoon. Among the highlights are the guest DJ Jhon Borcelle, at 5.30 pm, and the Madrinha attraction, at 6.30 pm.
Festival seeks to strengthen diversity and cultural production
In addition to the presentations, the organization states that the festival aims to stimulate the creative economy and create spaces for coexistence and dialogue between different audiences.
The expectation is that the first edition will also contribute to consolidate the event in the cultural calendar of Ponta Grossa.
“The Festival is a space for celebration, reception and appreciation of the LGBTQIAPN+ community, strengthening the diversity and cultural production of our city. I want to provide moments of art, exchange and connection, showing that all people have the right to exist and express themselves,” says Ana Júlia Prandel de Oliveira, head of the organization.
It also invites the population to participate in the activities and follow the programming throughout the two days.
The LGBTQIAPN+ Festival is held by AJP Produções Culturais, with the sponsorship of the Ibis Hotel Ponta Grossa, in addition to the support of local institutions and partners and municipal incentive in the areas of culture and tourism.
