Lula leads in South Korea, New Zealand and Australia in first overseas polls

Voting in these countries ended before Brazil due to the time zone difference. Despite the fact that the ballots of the electoral sections allow to follow the first numbers, the official consolidated disclosure of the results by Justiça Eleitoral follows the national calendar.
Lula receives 70.48% in New Zealand
In New Zealand, Lula received 234 votes, corresponding to 70.48% of the votes considered in the survey. Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) followed, with 64 votes, or 19.28%.
Renan Santos received 13 votes, while Romeu Zema received seven. Augusto Cury got six votes and Ronaldo Caiado got five. Samara got two votes and Hertz Days got one.
The sections considered in New Zealand were already with the vote completed.
South Korea also closes voting
In South Korea, Lula received 123 votes, equivalent to 56.94%. Flávio Bolsonaro received 72 votes, or 33.33%.
Renan Santos, Ronaldo Caiado and Augusto Cury each got six votes. Rui Costa Pimenta, Romeu Zema and Samara received one vote each.
As in New Zealand, all sections considered in the South Korean uprising had already closed the vote.
Australia had a partial result
In Australia, the numbers were still partial at the time of the survey. Of the 29 polling stations, 26 had been considered.
In this scenario, Lula appeared with 5,283 votes and Flávio Bolsonaro with 2,022.
Augusto Cury had 276 votes, while Renan Santos had 266. Romeu Zema appeared with 117 and Ronaldo Caiado with 102 votes.
As there are still sections pending, the Australian numbers could change as the bulletins continue to be counted.
The official result will be announced by Justiça Eleitoral
The numbers known during the morning are from ballot papers made available after the end of the voting in the respective sections.
The official consolidation of foreign results, however, follows the timetable of the election in Brazil.
More than 918,000 Brazilians are eligible to vote outside the country in the 2026 elections. Voters are spread across 186 cities in 134 countries. Abroad, Brazilians with a transferred electoral domicile vote only for president and vice president.
Over the course of Sunday, new bulletins from countries in Asia, Oceania, Europe, Africa and the Americas are expected to broaden the panorama of the presidential vote among Brazilians living outside the country.
