Man finds stolen motorcycle hidden in forest and calls police in Ponta Grossa

A man found a stolen motorcycle in Ponta Grossa hidden in a forest area in Jardim Cachoeira and fired the Military Police after locating the vehicle covered by branches and vegetation during a trail. The case occurred on Saturday morning (12) and gained repercussions after a video of the moment circulating on social networks.

In the images released, the man appears in a forest region performing a trail when he notices the presence of the motorcycle hidden between the branches. The vehicle was partially covered by vegetation, raising the suspicion that it could have been abandoned after a crime.

The video began circulating in groups of residents of Ponta Grossa with the aim of finding the owner of the motorcycle. After identifying the situation, the man called the Military Police to verify the origin of the vehicle.

According to information released by the Paraná Military Police, the team was triggered after receiving information about the possible location of a motorcycle with theft alert.

The incident was recorded around 9:40 this Saturday (12), in Rua Dalila Marcondes Rodrigues, in the Cara-Cará neighborhood, in Ponta Grossa. The police went to an area of eucalyptus plantations and located the motorcycle hidden in a path inside the property.

The system consultation confirmed that the vehicle had a record of theft that occurred on August 26, 2026.

The motorcycle was collected with the support of the institutional winch and sent to the 4th Regional Flagrantes Central, where the necessary procedures were carried out for the return to the owner.

The case draws attention to the participation of the resident, who found the motorcycle during a trail and helped the Military Police in the recovery of the vehicle. The quick location made it possible for the property to be removed from the site and forwarded to legal measures.

The Military Police reinforced that information passed on by the population can help in the work of recovering vehicles and combating property crimes in Ponta Grossa and the region.
