Man Dies in Contorno in Ponta Grossa After Sudden Illness While Walking on the Sidewalk. Police and Official Agencies Monitored the Case.
A 57-year-old man died after suffering a sudden illness in the Contorno neighborhood, in Ponta Grossa, on Monday night (21). The case was registered in Rua Ervino Arnoldo Schade, in the region of Buenos Aires, where the victim fell while walking on the sidewalk.
According to information obtained on the spot, family members reported that the man had spent the day using drugs. The information was passed on to the responsible bodies, but the circumstances of the death will still be investigated by the authorities.
According to reports, the victim was walking down the road when he was in bad shape and suddenly fell. Residents triggered emergency care and teams were moved to the address.
When the police arrived at the scene, the man was still showing vital signs. The Mobile Emergency Service (SAMU) was also activated and performed the care procedures, but later confirmed the death.
The body remained in the place, near a bus stop, waiting for the arrival of the teams of the Scientific Police and the Medical-Legal Institute (IML), responsible for the collection procedures and examinations that can help in confirming the cause of death.
So far, the official identification of the victim has not been released by the authorities.
