Man is arrested after attempting to force sexual relationship with his partner in Ponta Grossa

An occurrence of domestic violence in the Uvaranas neighborhood of Ponta Grossa ended with the arrest of a man on the morning of Monday (26). The Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) was called on after a woman reported that her partner had tried to force her to have sex and, in the face of refusal, went on to break objects inside the residence.

The call took place around 8:55 a.m., after equipe GAT Alpha received a call from the Integrated Center for Public Security Operations (CIOPS). Upon arriving at the address, the guards found the victim in front of the property, crying and visibly shaken.

According to the report of the occurrence, the suspect approached the agents during the care and was approached. The team conducted a personal search, but no illicit objects were found.

Woman Reports Attempted Forced Sex

In conversation with the municipal guards, the victim said that the partner had expressed the desire to have sexual relations that morning. After she refused, the man would have tried to force intimate contact without her consent.

According to the complaint, he began to damage objects inside the house. The woman reported that she had been in a relationship with the suspect for approximately six months and that during that period she had faced situations involving jealousy and aggressive behavior.

She also stated that previous episodes of destruction of objects had already occurred at the residence, indicating that the conflicts would not be isolated.

Another point mentioned by the victim was the fear of requesting protective measures. According to the record, the woman showed concern about her financial situation, since it depends economically on the partner.

Ex-wife appeared after receiving a call for help

One of the aspects that drew attention during the occurrence of domestic violence in Uvaranas was the presence of the suspect's ex-wife.

According to the information passed on to the Municipal Civil Guard, the woman sought the man's former companion through Instagram, using a computer to ask for help.

After receiving the message, the ex-wife came to the residence. She told officers that she also suffered assaults during the period in which she maintained a relationship with the suspect.

The woman also directed her current partner to seek protection through the legal mechanisms available and showed concern about the possibility of new episodes of violence.

The man was referred to the police.

Given the reports presented and the circumstances encountered during the care, the agents of the Municipal Civil Guard gave voice of arrest to the suspect.

The man was referred to the competent police authority, responsible for analyzing the occurrence and for adopting the appropriate legal measures.

The case reinforces the importance of the reporting channels and the domestic violence care network in Ponta Grossa, especially when there are reports of threats, aggressive behaviors and financial dependence.
