Man is arrested after invading construction site in Vila Estrela; receiver also detained in PG

A theft of the Vila Estrela in Ponta Grossa ended with two arrests on Wednesday (9). A man suspected of breaking into a work and stealing objects was located by the Municipal Civil Guard. The teams then reached the man who allegedly bought the stolen goods, who was also detained by receipt.

According to information passed on by security forces, the crime occurred during the early hours of the morning in a building located at Vila Estrela.

Images recorded by security cameras helped identify the suspect. The recordings show the moment when a man throws a stone at a building structure, causes damage and subsequently removes objects that were on the site.

From the images and information provided by residents, security forces have begun diligence to locate the person responsible.

The suspect was located by the city guard.

The incident mobilized teams of the Municipal Civil Guard, Military Police and Civil Police, through the Adolescent Police Station.

With the information obtained during the investigation, the suspect of the theft was identified and subsequently located by the Municipal Civil Guard.

He was detained and referred to proper procedures.

The teams continued the diligence to discover the fate of the objects taken from the work.

Second man arrested by reception

During the sequence of the incident, security forces identified the man who allegedly purchased the stolen products.

He was also located by the Municipal Civil Guard and detained on suspicion of reception.

The action allowed, according to the information disclosed, to hold responsible both the suspect identified as the author of the theft and the person who would have acquired the objects.

No details were disclosed about what materials were stolen, the estimated value of the products or whether all items were recovered.
