Man is arrested after Military Police execute warrant for theft in Ponta Grossa

The Military Police carried out an arrest warrant for theft in Ponta Grossa during an action held on the afternoon of Thursday (3), in the Contorno neighborhood. The incident was handled by teams from the Transit Operations Group (GOTran), which located a man wanted by the Justice.

According to information from the Military Police, the arrest warrant was related to the crime of theft. The 37-year-old man was approached by police during the team’s performance in the region and, after the confirmation of the court order, received a voice of arrest.

After the execution of the arrest warrant for theft, the detainee was referred to the Custody House Hildebrando de Souza, where he remains at the disposal of the Judiciary.

The arrest is part of the actions carried out by the security forces to comply with judicial decisions and locate people who have pending proceedings with the justice system.

The case was registered by the Military Police and the man remains under the responsibility of the competent authorities for legal proceedings.
