Two manifestos released on Tuesday (8 September 2026) call on Supremo Tribunal Federal to expedite the investigation of suspicions involving authorities and banker Daniel Vorcaro. Both documents allow the accession of citizens who wish to subscribe to them. The strategy of the organizers is to expand the number of signatories and demonstrate the degree of mobilization around the case.

Manifestos seek popular adhesion

The manifestos do not directly cite, but allude to the case involving Minister Alexandre de Moraes, suspected of having had improper relations and even helped Daniel Vorcaro, who is the founder of Banco Master and is in prison. The texts state that the episode requires a rapid institutional response of the STF to preserve the credibility of the Court and Brazilian institutions.

The possibility of accession by citizens is an important differentiator. In general, manifestos of entities are closed, but here the organizers have chosen to open the signature to the public. This can widen the scope and pressure on the court.

First Manifesto gathers 3,000 entities

One such manifesto was launched by a group of about 3,000 entities led by Fiesp (Federation of State Industries of São Paulo). The text requires that the plenary of the STF examine in public session the facts that led the Court to face the greatest institutional crisis in its history and decide with urgency and "without corporatism". Here is the full text (PDF – 834 kB).

The entities that sign the "Manifesto to the Brazilian Nation" are from all states and represent about 90% of GDP (Gross Domestic Product), according to the organizers. Citizens wishing to read and subscribe to the manifesto can do so on the initiative’s website.

This manifesto has a considerable economic weight, as it brings together productive sectors from all over the country. The participation of natural persons can reinforce the legitimacy of the process before public opinion.

Second manifesto calls for precautionary dismissal

The second manifesto was organized by a group of 157 people, made up of businessmen, economists and liberal professionals. Entitled "Public Manifesto by Law and Brazil", the text asks STF to "precautionary removal" from authorities "formally" investigated in the Master case. Here is the full text (PDF – 12 MB).

Citizens who wish to subscribe to the manifesto can do so on this website. The difference between the two documents is in the tone: the first speaks in public session and urgent decision; the second goes further and asks for the removal of investigated.

Both converge on the need for a swift response from the Court. Openness to signatures indicates that organizers want to turn outrage into concrete action.

Why it matters to the reader

The case involves serious suspicions against a minister of STF and a banker imprisoned. The credibility of institutions is at stake, and the mobilization of society can influence the timing of decisions. For the ordinary citizen, signing a manifesto is a way of participating in public debate without relying on parties or mandates.

In addition, mass membership can signal to the court that society is watching. In times of institutional crisis, popular pressure is usually a relevant factor, although not a determinant.

The organizers have not detailed signature targets, but the expectation is that membership will grow in the coming days. The source did not specify whether there would be periodic disclosure of the numbers.

How to participate

To sign the first manifesto, simply go to the initiative website and fill in the requested data. The second manifesto also has its own website for membership. Both are free and open to any Brazilian citizen.

It is important to read the full documents before signing. The links to the PDFs are available on the respective pages. The transparency of the organizers allows each person to evaluate the content and decide consciously.

The Boca no Trombone portal will continue to monitor the unfolding of the case and the repercussions of the manifestos. For more news on national politics and the STF, continue browsing the site.
