"May God protect Brazil and our Paraná," says Moro after Lula's victory
Elected governor of Paraná expresses after presidential result, mentions opposition concerns and reaffirms commitments to the state

The elected governor of Paraná, Sergio Moro (PL), spoke on Monday (26) after the victory of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) in the presidential election. In a publication on X, Moro said that the national result contradicted the expectations of his political group and closed the message asking for divine protection for the country and the state.
At the demonstration, Moro stressed that the majority of Paraná voters took a position against Lula. He also mentioned opposition questions about the election, without specifying what points should be clarified.
The governor-elect said he would continue to defend his political positions regardless of who holds the presidency. For the future state management, he reiterated the commitment to expand opportunities and promote development in the Paraná. “May God protect Brazil and our Paraná,” he wrote.
