Mendonça determines the removal of Andrei Rodrigues from the general direction of the Federal Police
Mendonça also provisionally removed Leandro Almada, the Intelligence Director of the PF

Minister André Mendonça, rapporteur of the case of Banco Master in Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), decided on Tuesday (8) to preventively remove the director general of the Federal Police, Andrei Rodrigues, from his duties.
Mendonça also preventively removed the director of Intelligence of the PF, Leandro Almada.
The minister justified the urgency of the measure in view of what he said was the “superlative gravity” and “illegality” of the disclosure of “intelligence reports” of the Federal Reserve by Minister Alexandre de Moraes, also of the Supreme Court.
The move comes after Moraes made public, last week, a report by the FP in which it is suggested a possible direction of the investigations of the Master case against political disaffections of Mendonça. The document, however, is not signed nor does it have the header of the PF.
"[The episode] imposes the adoption of immediate measures to prevent the prerogatives of the judiciary, public advocacy and police activity itself from continuing to be vilified," Mendonça wrote.
