The state deputy Moacyr Fadel (PSD), candidate for re-election, highlights the trajectory linked to the municipal administration as one of the main pillars of his performance in the Legislative Assembly of Paraná. Former mayor of Castro for four terms, he states that the experience at the head of the municipality contributes to understanding the demands of the cities and seek resources for different regions of the State.

Agronomist and farmer, Fadel also presided over the Association of Municipalities of Paraná (AMP). According to the deputy, the passage by the municipal Executive and the entity provided knowledge about the necessary paths so that claims presented by mayors and leaders can be transformed into projects and investments.

“Having been mayor and president of the Association of Municipalities of Paraná gave me the necessary knowledge to represent the municipalities. I know the difficulties, I know how the demands work and what the way to turn an order into investment and result,” he says.

Action aimed at municipalities

During his term as a state deputy, Fadel claims to have concentrated his work mainly in the areas of health, infrastructure, agriculture and education, with attention to small and medium-sized municipalities.

For the parliamentarian, the presence in the cities and the contact with managers and residents are important to identify the main needs of each region.

“My performance is guided by a simple vision. The public resource must reach where the population is. The role of a representative is to know the reality of each region and work so that demands become achievements,” he emphasizes.

Among the actions cited by the deputy is the completion of the paving to the district of Socavão, in Castro, in addition to the allocation of more than R$ 100 million for the health area.

According to Fadel, the resources destined to the sector were directed to the expansion of services, acquisition of equipment and improvements in the service to the population.

Education, agriculture and infrastructure

In education, the deputy highlights investments destined to the construction of new nurseries, reforms of units and acquisition of equipment for the modernization of public schools.

Another area identified as a priority is support to the productive sector. According to Fadel, resources were allocated to infrastructure works and the acquisition of machines and equipment aimed mainly at strengthening agriculture and municipal economies.

With his political trajectory linked to Castro and the Campos Gerais, Fadel states that the proposal is to expand the activity in different regions of the Paraná, keeping municipalism as one of the main bases of his parliamentary work.

For the deputy, the strengthening of cities has a direct impact on the development of the State and the quality of life of the population.

“The Paraná grows as your cities grow. It is in the municipalities that life happens, where the challenges are and also the opportunities for transformation. I want to continue working so that the people of Paraná have a better and better life,” he says.
