Modernization of Gymnasium Spurrs Employment in Tibagi with R$ 2.8 Million Investment
The project includes improvements in different areas of the sports complex, which houses the Sports Secretariat, the multi-sport court and the Swiss football field.

The modernization of the Quirão Sports Gymnasium already begins to move the labor market in Tibagi. On Thursday (15), the mayor Rildo Leonardi received the head of Neves Engenharia, Matheus Neves, the company that won the tender to execute the work.
During the meeting, which also included the participation of the deputy mayor Helynez Ribas and members of the municipal team, the hiring of workers from the municipality were discussed and the chairs that will be installed in the gymnasium’s stands were presented.
The company has started the process of hiring eight professionals to work in the construction services. According to Matheus, the candidates took the admission exams on Thursday (15) and Friday (16). In addition, it is expected to open four more vacancies in February 2027, this time for painting-related services.
The hiring of residents of Tibagi meets a request from the mayor, who asked the company, which is from Umuarama, priority for the local workforce. The Workers Agency of the municipality carried out the initial recruitment of candidates and should also assist in the referral of professionals for the next opportunities.
“From the beginning, we asked the company to prioritize Tibagi workers. In addition to generating jobs, we want these opportunities to help the families of the municipality and move our trade. The work of Quirão will improve the sports structure of the city, but it also needs to generate benefits for our population during the execution of the services”, highlights the mayor Rildo Leonardi.
According to Matheus, the company has accepted the request of the municipal administration and intends to prioritize the residents of the city in the contracts planned for the execution of the project. The initiative allows part of the resources earmarked for the work to also circulate in the local economy, through the wages paid to the workers and the consumption in the trade of Tibagi.

The internal structure of the gym will have accessibility ramps, reforms in the bathrooms and in the canteen, in addition to the installation of new basketball tables. The chairs presented during the visit will integrate the stands, contributing to improve the comfort of the public that accompanies the competitions and events held on site.
With the works in progress, the City of Tibagi seeks to modernize one of the main sports spaces of the municipality, with 38 years of history, expand the conditions for the practice of physical activities and strengthen the local sport.
