Moro brings mayors together to show strength against Lula

The week began with the meeting of mayors and Sérgio Moro, elected governor, in a pro-Flavio Bolsonaro act in Curitiba. Moro’s action is a way of bringing mayors closer, including those who have not been with him.

The fact is that Moro needs to show strength and that does not necessarily change the national scenario, because the South already votes on the right. The governor who assumes the government together with the new president of the Republic, in fact, knows that he does not govern alone, without the federal government. And with Lula in government, it can compromise the relationship with the federal government.

In addition, the number of mayors present at the event demonstrates precisely the reflection in the polls, which although many mayors supported the government candidate, Ratinho seems to have lost support of the mayors long before the election began.

After the elections, Ratinho may now understand that government approval does not guarantee automatic transfer of votes. Moro has always had favoritism, including the pocketarism that he himself has nurtured in recent years at the head of the Paraná government.
