Moro leads, but Sandro Alex races against time to change the scenario in Paraná, by Gleidson Carlos

The polls, at this time of the campaign, show two very clear things in the race for the Government of the Paraná. First: Sérgio Moro continues to lead.Second: for Sandro Alex to advance, he needs to take votes from Moro.

And here's the most important point. Moro works to keep his electorate united, especially that voter most at the center. Because the more ideological votes, side by side, are much harder to change.

It is precisely in this center voter that Sandro must enter. But time is running out. For Sandro Alex, there is an even greater urgency: to turn into votes for his candidacy part of the electorate of Ratinho Junior — especially that electorate linked to mayors and municipal structures.

If this transfer does not happen quickly, time can play against. Moro knows that too. Those who are in the lead need to consolidate their position, expand the advantage and prevent Sandro from finding room to grow.

Because, with the election approaching, Moro is not just competing for leadership. Today, he already works in a very comfortable situation: if he does not win in the first round, he is very close to securing a spot in the second.

So the question now is: will Sandro Alex be able to break Moro’s central electorate before the clock is zero? It is this dispute that can define the next chapters of the election.
